Submitting False Psychological Evaluation Forms in Florida

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services fined G4S Secure Solutions $151,400 for falsely listing psychological testing information on more than 1,500 forms over a 10-year period that allowed employees—including Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen—to carry guns. G4S had listed the name of a psychologist who no longer practiced as the screener for Mateen and others. (Mateen worked for G4S for nine years as a security guard. Mateen killed 49 people and injured 53 in a mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in June 2016.)
