U.S. ex rel. Johnson v. Raytheon (False Claims, Whistleblower Retaliation)

Former Raytheon employee Dana Johnson alleges Raytheon defrauded the U.S. Navy on a contract to provide radar equipment. Johnson claims Raytheon did not perform its work according to the contractual terms and instead hid problems from the Navy and misrepresented the work it provided. He claims Raytheon made false claims for payment related to software problems, test equipment, and incorrect configuration instructions. Johnson also alleges that after he expressed his concerns to supervisors, Raytheon suspended him from the Navy project and ultimately fired him.
