Iraq Police Training Contract – Civil Fraud Settlement

DynCorp International paid $1.5 million to settle civil fraud allegations involving former DynCorp employees Wesley Aaron Struble and Jose Rivera, who pleaded guilty to soliciting and accepting kickbacks from an Iraqi subcontractor in connection with DynCorp’s lease of property for its operations in Baghdad, Iraq (see DynCorp instance, “Iraq Police Training Contract – Criminal Prosecution”). The settlement resolved the alleged liability of DynCorp under the Anti-Kickback Act and the False Claims Act.
