Violations of Technical Safety Requirements

On December 16, 2005, the Department of Energy issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation to Fluor Hanford, Inc. for violations of Technical Safety Requirements from September 2003 to July 2005. The violations included an event “in which several personnel received low level radioactive exposure”. The total civil penalty for these violations was $206,250.
