Christensen et al. v. Boeing (737 Max – Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant Lost Wages)

Southwest Airlines flight attendants sued Boeing for lost wages allegedly caused by the company’s misrepresentation of the safety of its 737 Max jets, which were grounded in March 2019 after two fatal crashes. The plaintiffs allege that “in its haste to produce the 737 Max, Boeing sidestepped normal design safety protocol.” Specifically, they allege the 737 Max contained failure-prone sensors that could inadvertently force the planes into unrecoverable nosedives.
