Drowning Death on Mark 6 Sea Lion Program
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited SAIC for a serious violation and fined the company $5,000 after an employee drowned while conducting marine mammal training operations in Coronado, California in April 2014 on a U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command contract.
