Gateway Antitrust Lawsuit

Microsoft paid computer maker Gateway $150 million to settle claims arising from the antitrust lawsuit the U.S. Department of Justice brought against Microsoft in 1995. Gateway alleged it paid higher prices for Microsoft’s software because it would not bundle Internet Explorer with its computers.
