Novell Antitrust Lawsuit

Microsoft paid Novell $536 million to settle an antitrust case related to Novell’s Netware operating system. Novell alleged that Microsoft attempted to eliminate competition in the office productivity applications market when Novell owned WordPerfect, a word processing program, and the Quattro Pro spreadsheet in the 1990s.
