Foreign Bribery and Bid Rigging

The Hungarian subsidiary of Microsoft entered into a non-prosecution agreement and paid a criminal penalty of $8.7 million to resolve an investigation into violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act arising out of a bid rigging and bribery scheme involving the sale of Microsoft software licenses to Hungarian government agencies between 2013 and 2015.
