Sponn v. Emergent BioSolutions (Shareholder Lawsuit)

Emergent BioSolutions shareholders alleged the company violated the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 by making material misrepresentations and/or omissions to investors regarding the renewal of Emergent’s BioThrax procurement contract with the U.S. government. Emergent settled the lawsuit for $6.5 million.
