Sexual Harassment and Retaliation in North Carolina

Securitas Security Services USA agreed to pay $65,000 to settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The EEOC alleged that a female security guard at a Securitas facility in Charlotte, North Carolina, was subjected to unwelcome sexual comments, gestures, and sexual touching from February to March 2008 by two male guards, one of whom was her supervisor, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
