Boston Shoplifter Assault and Civil Rights Violations

A Suffolk County, Massachusetts, grand jury indicted Mohammad Khan and his employer, Securitas Security Services USA, on assault and battery and civil rights charges after Khan allegedly punched, grabbed, and threw an 11-year-old girl who stole merchandise at a Boston clothing store in June 2019. Prosecutors allege Khan used “excessive and unreasonable force” to detain the girl.
