Rosenbohm v. Verizon Wireless (Unpaid Off-the-Clock Labor)
A federal judge in September 2020 approved a $1.95 million settlement of a class action lawsuit brought against Cellco Partnership, which does business as Verizon Wireless, on behalf of thousands of Verizon store employees who alleged the company underpaid workers. The plaintiffs claimed Verizon did not adequately pay employees for work performed at the end of closing shifts, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
