Senate Commerce Committee Investigation of the 737 Max
A U.S. Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee investigation of the Boeing 737 Max aircraft found numerous lapses in oversight at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The committee also found that a Boeing employee “inappropriately coached” pilots taking 737 Max recertification tests, and that “FAA and Boeing [attempted] to cover up important information that may have contributed to the 737 Max tragedies.”
