Yoshikawa v. Exxon Mobil (Permian Basin Assets Overvaluation)

An Exxon Mobil investor filed a proposed class action lawsuit alleging that in 2019 and 2020 the company reported false and misleading information about the value of its Permian Basin oil and gas holdings, which caused the company’s stock price to drop upon reports that securities regulators were looking into the valuation.
