Selectively Disclosing Material Nonpublic Information

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) charged AT&T with repeatedly violating securities regulations, and three of its executives with aiding and abetting those violations, by selectively disclosing to securities analysts in 2016 material nonpublic information pertaining to AT&T’s quarterly smartphone sales.
