Radiological Control Deficiencies (Sandia National Laboratories)
On August 14, 1996, the Department of Energy issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation to the Sandia Corporation, a Lockheed Martin subsidiary, for “a number of radiological control deficiencies associated with field radiography operations” at the Sandia National Laboratory. The civil penalty for these violations was $5,000.
