Norfolk v. GEO Group (Racial Discrimination and Retaliation)

Stephen and Brandy Norfolk, employees at the Moshannon Valley Correctional Center in Pennsylvania, alleged they were subjected to racial harassment, retaliation, and a hostile work environment at the center. In August 2021, a jury found in the Norfolks’ favor and awarded them $3.6 million in damages.
