Kanefsky v. Honeywell International (Misrepresenting Asbestos-Related Liabilities)

Honeywell International paid $10 million to settle a lawsuit accusing the company and its executives of misleading investors about the amount of asbestos-related liabilities it faced stemming from its previous ownership of Bendix Friction Materials and misrepresenting its internal controls over financial reporting and public disclosures.
