Alleged Illegal No-Poach Agreement
Lawsuits allege Raytheon Technologies division Pratt & Whitney and other aerospace engineering companies engaged in anti-competitive practices by agreeing not to poach each other’s employees. The plaintiffs claim their wages and job prospects were negatively affected by the companies’ alleged agreement between 2011 and 2019 to not solicit, recruit, hire without prior approval, or otherwise compete for engineers and other skilled workers, in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act. (See related Raytheon Company instance, “U.S. v. Patel (Antitrust Conspiracy).”)
