Prozac.com Security Breach

Eli Lilly and Company settled Federal Trade Commission charges regarding the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive personal information collected from consumers through its Prozac.com website. In June 2001, the company disclosed the e-mail addresses of hundreds of subscribers to its Prozac reminder service. The FTC alleged Lilly failed to maintain or implement measures to protect sensitive consumer information.
