Race and Gender Pay Discrimination at Wilmington, DE Facility

The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs entered into a conciliation agreement with AstraZeneca to resolve alleged race and gender-based pay discrimination affecting 318 female and Hispanic employees at its North American commercial headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware in 2015 and 2016. Under the agreement, AstraZeneca agreed to pay $560,000 in back pay and interest.
