Violations of the Louisiana Environmental Quality Act

On October 28, 2002, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality issued a penalty assessment for $110,675.39 for wastewater discharges, sampling deficiencies, and other violations of the Environmental Quality Act. Subsequently, Honeywell and the DEQ agreed to settle the matter for $91,000.
