Violations of Water Quality Standards (Virginia)
In May 2003, Honeywell reported a discharge into a body of water, which the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality believed led to a fishkill. A cross-connection in a Honeywell plant sewer system allegedly caused the incident. In March 2004, Honeywell agreed to pay a civil charge of $12,000 to settle the violations.
