Baghdad Police College SIGIR Report

On September 27, 2006, the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) released a Quick Reaction Report on the Baghdad, Iraq police college. The project was completed under a cost-plus contract awarded by the Army Corps of Engineers to Parsons. The report noted several “significant deficiencies,” including leaking water and other waste materials, water damage, and poor construction materials and practices. The report recommended further investigation of all project work associated with the police college.
