Thomas v. General Electric Co., et al. (Racial Discrimination)

Marcel Thomas, the CEO, president and chairman of GE Aviation Materials, filed a class action lawsuit alleging the company discriminates against African-Americans in pay and promotions. Thomas sought $450 million in damages for the class and unspecified damages on his own claims. The case settled in January 2006.
