Geter v. General Electric (Racial Discrimination)

LaWanda Geter, an assistant vice president in the bank loan group of GE Corporate Financial Services in Norwalk, Connecticut, claimed that she had been harassed by supervisors, passed over for promotions, assigned lower-level work, and paid lower bonuses than white employees performing the same work, and that other African-American employees received similar treatment. The lawsuit settled in 2008.
