Price Fixing in El Salvador
The government of El Salvador accused Esso Standard Oil (owned by Exxon Mobil) and Royal Dutch Shell’s local subsidiary of price fixing and fined each company $852,000. The government accused the companies of colluding to set artificially high gas prices.
