Romdhani v. Exxon Mobil (Religious Discrimination)

Sofiene Romdhani, Michelle Maloney and Bobbi Joe Zeller, former employees of an Exxon Mobil gas station in Delaware, filed a federal civil rights suit against the company alleging discrimination, harassment and retaliation. They claimed that, because of their Muslim faith, they were targeted by superiors, taunted by co-workers, and denied reasonable accommodations to take off for religious observances, and that, despite repeated complaints, Exxon Mobil officials ignored them. The lawsuit settled in 2011.
