Automotive Products Price Fixing
More than 40 lawsuits filed around the country accused Honeywell International (which manufactures FRAM brand automotive filters) and several other automotive product manufacturers of conspiring to fix the price of oil, air, transmission and fuel filters, rigging bids, and allocating customers for filters since 1999. In 2012, Honeywell agreed to pay $2.1 million to settle the litigation.
